Moving objects out of their natural surrounding is a basic idea in Gosia Warrink’s creative world: Shiny steel cake rings turn into an elegantly minimalist chandelier, giving warm light. Or two bicycle rims use their shadows to oscillate between proximity and distance. Warrink also likes to visualises female topics. 2,7 kg lipstick are eaten by accident in a life of a woman. Inspired by this curiosity, she created a stomach out of little lipstick casts, bearing exactly the weight of 2,7 kg. Her delicate play with industrial materials, light-bulbs and the classical term of sculpture, opens new perspectives and places strong eye-catchers in the living space. Additionally, each of her objects is a unique piece.
